Peter studied Nuclear Medicine at the University of Sydney before working in the Department of Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Ultrasound at Westmead Public Hospital. While working in Nuclear Medicine Peter was involved in several research projects and presented at the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine annual conference in Auckland.
While working at Westmead Peter undertook training as a Sonographer and studied through the University of South Australia. Peter has worked in both public and private practices, and spent 2012/13 working as a Sonographer in the UK at St Georges Hospital, one of the largest teaching hospitals in London.
One of Peter’s main interests in life is Orienteering and Adventure racing. The sport involves competitors navigating their way between control points marked on a map, combining both physical and mental strengths. He has represented Australia at junior and senior levels both nationally and internationally.
Peter joined Canberra Specialist Ultrasound to advance his stills in Musculoskeletal Sonography and is currently working towards a Masters in Medical Sonography.
